LAURENCE JENKELL’S MASTERPIECES TO BE
FEATURED AT PORT AUTHORITY BUS TERMINAL

The installation of 30 sculptures and 80 other pieces of art by world renowned sculptor Laurence Jenkell will be on display starting Tuesday, December 19, throughout the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Installation of the art work will begin at 10 p.m. tonight, December 18.

Ms. Jenkell and her celebrated sculptures have toured the world, where they have been showcased in Spain, Singapore, China, United Arab Emirates and France, her home country. The Port Authority Bus Terminal is the first location in the United States to display Ms. Jenkell’s work.

Anita Durst was the driving force behind bringing Ms. Jenkell’s art work to the bus terminal. Ms. Jenkell’s creations are present in the world’s leading art galleries and museums.

Media interested in more information or in speaking to Port Authority representatives, Ms. Durst or Ms. Jenkell should contact Public Information Officer Rudy King at 212-435 -7777.
